vmware tools on debian

There are packages for the open vmware tools (in contrib), but pre-built modules are no longer included.
For a server without gui you just need to: 

apt-get update 
apt-get install open-vm-tools 
module-assistant auto-install open-vm -i 

Changed in Wheezy to use DKMS rather than module-assisant.
