Dynamic DNS update with linux and MAD

debian squeeze + isc-dhcp-client (1) + MAD (2)

magic settings for dhclient.conf:

send fqdn.fqdn "host.domain"; 
send fqdn.encoded off; 
send fqdn.server-update off;

Now if only I could get it to combine /etc/hostname and the domain that it gets from dhcp.

BADSIG messages just started appearing on Ubuntu laptop

"BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key"

There's no obvious reason. However this fixed it.

apt-get clean
cd /var/lib/apt
mv lists lists.old
mkdir -p lists/partial
apt-get clean
apt-get update
